Pleasant Trestle
This is our take on a traditional trestle farmhouse table. Historically, you would find these in medieval castles, bustling churches and sprawling country estates. The crux of a trestle table is the ease in which its disassembled, but simultaneously is rock solid when assembled. This table features no mechanical fasteners for joinery, only hand cut through tenons, locking dovetails and doweled bracing. It is easily taken apart with the removal of the trestle keys, but could accommodate a team of river dancers on it’s top when fully assembled.
It is made from locally sourced white ash and finished with rubio monocoat in silver gray.
